What we fund

Therapies & programs

We support a range of alternative and integrative therapies that have shown meaningful results for children with neurological and developmental differences.

ADSC
Autologous Adipose-Derived Stem Cells

Autologous stem cell therapy uses a child's own stem cells (typically from cord blood or bone marrow) to promote neurological repair and regeneration. It is an emerging therapy being explored for various neurological conditions.

CST
CranioSacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment designed to release tension in the body's connective tissues and regulate the central nervous system. Practitioners use a light touch—often about the weight of a nickel—to evaluate and soothe the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord

CVI
Cortical Visual Impairment therapy

CVI rehabilitation addresses visual impairment caused by brain injury or neurological differences rather than eye problems. Programs help the brain learn to interpret visual information and expand functional vision over time.

HBOT
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy delivers high-concentration oxygen in a pressurized chamber. It promotes healing, reduces inflammation, and has shown promising results for neurological conditions by stimulating stem cell production and supporting brain function.

IAHP
Institutes for Achievement of Human Potential

The IAHP provides intensive neurological programming for brain-injured children, based on the principle that brain function can be improved through consistent, organized neurological stimulation performed by the family at home.

MAT
Muscle Activation Technique

Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) is a hands-on therapy designed to assess and correct muscular imbalances. It operates on the principle that muscle tightness and joint pain are usually symptoms of an underlying weakness, and uses targeted massage and isometric exercises to stimulate the nervous system and restore proper muscle function. MAT views the muscular system like a circuit board: when a muscle is inhibited or "weak," it fails to communicate effectively with the central nervous system. To compensate, other muscles tighten up to provide joint stability. Instead of stretching or massaging the tight muscles, MAT focuses on jump-starting the dormant ones.

Mind-Eye
Mind-Eye Institute visual rehabilitation

The Mind-Eye Institute specializes in neuro-optometric rehabilitation, addressing how the brain processes visual information. Their approach combines vision therapy with neurological rehabilitation for children with brain-based visual impairments.

MNRI
Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration

MNRI restores and integrates primary motor reflexes that form the foundation for healthy neurological development. When reflexes are dysfunctional, MNRI therapy helps the nervous system reorganize and function more effectively.

PxDocs
Pediatric neurological chiropractic

PxDocs is a network of chiropractors specializing in pediatric neurological care. They focus on the relationship between the nervous system and the spine, using gentle adjustments to improve neurological function in children.

RLT
Red Light Therapy

Red light therapy uses low-level, continuous red wavelengths of light (typically 630–850 nm) to penetrate the skin. It works by stimulating cellular energy (ATP) in your mitochondria, which promotes healing, reduces inflammation, boosts collagen production, and increases blood flow
